Abstract The paper concerns coupling between longitudinal and transverse vibrations of tensioned Euler-Bernoulli beams with general linear boundary conditions arbitrary elastic stiffness. are assumed to be perfectly straight symmetric conditions, excitation aligned the axis. Two types excitation, harmonic impact, considered.
